Since the last newsletter there have been no further meetings of the liaison committee. The site remains clear and secure. The next phase of work is expected to commence once all permits are in place and equipment secured. This is expected to be in May.

Permit applications have recently been submitted by Rathlin Energy (UK) to the Environment Agency. Details can be found on the Environment Agency site or more easily through the Rathlin Energy (UK) site:, and then click on the Yorkshire tab. Full details of the application are there.

The next meeting of the liaison committee is being held on the 25th February where the permits will be discussed. If, once having read the application, you have any questions and wish to discuss with a member of the liaison committee, please feel free to call either David or me. We may not be able to answer your query directly but will able to talk to Rathlin Energy (UK) and put your query directly to them.
