We were sorry to say goodbye to Angela who has gone to take up ministry in Middlesbrough, but we are very fortunate to have Ruth who will continue her ministry with us along with her duties in Walkington, Rowley and Skidby.  She is a busy person!

Richard, Bishop of Hull will be coming to take our service on Sunday March 9th at 11a.m.  Everyone is welcome, and we hope to have a good turnout for this service.

We have a service every Sunday at 11 am – details in this magazine, and on the Parish Notice Boards.  The services are friendly and welcoming, and coffee and biscuits are served after the service, which gives everyone a chance for a good chat!  Do come!

Our lovely church is open every day – unlocked by a rota of volunteers (approx 10am-5pm) so please do feel free to come in and enjoy the peaceful ambiance  - just the sound of birdsong.  We are always pleased to see it used and appreciated – there are some lovely comments in the Visitors Book.

Plans for “Loo and Pews” are going ahead – slowly – but progress is being made.  Future ideas for fundraising – An Open Gardens Event is suggested for the Summer in June – details later (volunteers needed to open your garden please) and perhaps another Walk in the Autumn.

Meanwhile – next stop – EASTER!
