Alice (in Wonderland) said she could think of six impossible things before breakfast. Beheadings, brainy robots, films of Cleethorpes and ten foot high lobsters and other impossibilities aren't usually found in the village hall. But we had them just after dinner on 22nd November courtesy of the Village Hall Committee and the Grimshaw brothers and "Maureen". Magic or technological wizardry, science or tomfoolery - who cares? - it was jolly good entertainment for the 60+ dinner guests at the village hall. The Grimshaws' show was very slick and funny with good music complementing the banter, excellent food and convivial company.

Well done to the Committee for getting the Grimshaws to Bishop Burton and to the Arts Council who helped fund the group. Don't miss the next entertainment on Burns Night.
