The Home Heat Helpline can advise you on benefits, grants for free home insulation, reduced tariffs and special payment options your energy supplier provides to help those struggling with their fuel bills.   • Free cavity wall and loft insulation someone owning or privately renting their home who are either; over the age of 70 or receiving an income or disability related benefit may qualify to have you home insulated for free.   • Reduced cost loft and cavity insulation  Someone not receiving an income or disability related benefit or over 70, as long as the property is owned or privately rented, may be eligible to reduced cost insulation, subject to a survey of your home.
