BISHOP BURTON PARISH COUNCIL

The Parish Council is seeking to appoint a Parish Clerk/responsible Finance officer, working on a part time basis from home plus attendance at the Council meetings.

The hours are flexible except for the Council meetings starting at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.

Duties include general administration, accounts, liaising with the Chairman to set the agenda, minute taking and follow up action, providing relevant advice to Parish Councillors. Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and manual or computerised accounts is essential. Familiarity with the local area is desirable.
