The Candlelit Concert by Quintessential November 20th in All Saints Church was a most successful and enjoyable occasion. The church was full (and warm!) and the singing by Quintessential was magnificent. Their voices blended beautifully and soared up into the rafters of our lovely church. Their programme varied from madrigals through folk songs to songs from the shows and finished with Tom Lehrer. Wine, coffee and delicious canapes were served in the interval - and much enjoyed by everyone!

Sadly this will be the last time Quintessential will be performing here as they are splitting up and some of the group are moving abroad. They are planning a Farewell Concert in Harrogate sometime in the late Spring. For further information contact Sarah Paynes This email address is being protected from spambots. 110 people paid and attended on the night. With donations, and after expenses the event raised £1200 for the church - a fantastic result. Many thanks to Quintessential (who gave the concert free) and to everyone who helped and provided the excellent canapes on the night, and who helped clear up afterwards too!

We hope this will be a start towards providing toilet facilities in the church, to encourage further use of the church both for worship and for future events.
