The Chapel looked lovely for Easter, lots of daffodils and the Easter garden, also a special communion service with our Minister, the Rev. Liz Allison. We visited Settrington on Easter Monday, their church is Norman, beautifully light and obviously loved, and well worth a visit, especially at daffodil time.

It was good to welcome members of the Wednesday Coffee a.m. at High Eske on the 14th April to a Coffee a.m. for the church at Tickton - many thanks for your support, it raised £178, amazing.

Two important dates in May, firstly the concert with our friends the Walkington singers who are always popular with their songs, both old and new, not forgetting their poems and anecdotes! Please support us, tickets are £5 and include coffee/tea and homemade biscuits, available from the shop and on the door. Secondly there is a Circuit Praise Pentecost Service at Toll Gavel on Sunday 23rd May, followed by a 'bring and share lunch', everyone welcome.

On Saturday 26th June we are planning a tea party on Bryan Mere Green 2 - 4pm. A warm invitation to everyone, more details later. If it is wet we will serve tea in the Chapel.

At our last Chapel meeting we discussed many things and especially ' The Way forward', including different times for services to be more user friendly. Also joining in with the Church with a questionnaire which is included in this issue. Please do try and fill it in, your views are important!

Our very best wishes to Peter and Ann on their marriage. Also congratulations to John Dunning and family for organising the 'Help for Heroes' Lunch, which was so well supported - all very enjoyable.
