Bishop Burton Shop, Finkle Street, Bishop Burton.Telephone: 01964 552366

Pete and Anne at the village shop are taking orders, making up your order and delivering – for free. I understand from a number of people who have used them that they are doing a great job.

Don’t be deterred from using them by the selection in the shop. They are backed by a large wholesaler who stocks a wide range of products to meet all your needs. So, whilst the shop is only small and can only stock a limited range, they are able to get a wide range of goods to satisfy your order. Just give them a ring and put your order in.

In respect of meat they are using Laveracks butchers and can request whatever type of meat that you require. If you have been in the shop you will also notice that they are already stocking fresh chicken pieces/breasts and mince, so there is no need to go further afield.

If you are able to and want to pick your order up that is fine, but if you prefer it to be delivered, then it is free, and I have over 30 volunteers that can be called on to help deliveries if the volume gets too much for Pete and Anne.

If however, what you are looking for Pete and Anne are not able to supply then a list has been put together of other suppliers that are currently open (note: details are correct today but subject to change in this evolving climate).
