Bishop Burton Village opened ten of its gardens to public view on Sunday 25th June. All the gardens were within easy walking distance of the village hall where your tour began and ended.

We were blessed with decent weather for the day - not too hot and not cold. Over 250 visitors took part in the event raising over £1700 for the friends of All Saints' Curch. Church.

Many thanks to those gardeners who opened their gardens and to the volunteers who worked hard arranging parking, signing, publicity and refereshments during and before the event. I hope the large number of cars in the village did not cause too many problems - thanks for your tolerance.
